quest dissappearing? - Guild Wars Forums

Do quests dissappear after you finish a mission or osmething? Behind I just finished the push the north wall back mission in prophecies and noticed some of my quests were gone. Is this normal? I remember some of them had skills as reward too so I don't want to lose it. Thanks.

Regular quests shouldn't disappear until you accept the reward from some NPC. Often, in missions, the mission objectives will appear in your quest log, but they're only there while you're in the mission. Are all your quests gone, even the ones with skill rewards? Might you have accepted the reward already for some of the ones you think are missing now?

Another possibility is that quests are grouped in the log by region - perhaps you simply minimized a region's display in the log. Check and see if you have little "+" buttons by regions in the quest log. Maybe the missing quests are in there.

If you're really worried and don't mind possible spoilers, Wiki has listings of all the game's quests. You could try checking the main quest page:

Is it possible they were gone before. I would assume that the quests from pre would be taken off the list when you went post...And Great Northern Wall is the first mission...

wait what do you mean by this? So I've finished them all and didn't miss out on anything?

When you left presearing (the place where everything was colorful and alive) and went to post searing (where there was that cutscene were the wall was destroyed and the lands turned all black), there was no going back. Any quests from before are gone since you can't get back to presearing.

Don't worry. You didn't miss out on anything. None of the quest rewards are mandatory and you can get everything they give some other way.
